Pros
Some good afterwork activities & some teams still try to hold together despite challenges.
Cons
Very poor leadership since people without any leadership experience or personal skills get promoted and left alone. Junior leaders don't get any advice or coaching since senior management doesn't have any experience either. Without any self-reflection, this condition seems unlikely to change. Performance is evaluated in a very strange way and people get either kicked out or promoted based on personal references, rather than what is truly beneficial for the company. There is no psychological safety and every other day brings a new (typically negative) surprise. People are waiting for some clarity and guidance on every company-wide meeting but get disappointed every time. Serious issues are not brought up, hence no plans for improvement are developed. With almost no women being decision makers (anymore), the male-dominated nature of the company makes it less welcoming for women. Furthermore, a lot of good people are stuck because of visa regulations but are truly unhappy. I would not recommend the employer to anyone.
