Pros

- Progress reviews every 6 months supported by development manager meetings, meaning you are given credit for hard work - with promotions/pay rises being assessed at these intervals - Open culture where you can express ideas and make suggestions without fear of being judged, and action is taken if it is a good idea (you don’t have to be senior management to shape the company) - Flexibility in learning about different areas of the business, and opportunity to develop skills in these different areas - Interesting work with hands on experience, and a real chance to develop consulting skills rapidly, especially in the Business Analyst position. - A company culture where I feel cared about. I've had a few sicknesses/emergencies throughout my time at Anmut, and the response from managers to these situations has always been compassionate and genuinely caring. The people are all very nice and I've not had to deal with any office politics so far.

Cons

- The flip-side to the autonomy granted in the position means that there is often no pre-defined process, so sometimes it can be difficult to build from the ground up (although not a con depending on your learning style)

Pros

The people are smart, motivated, fun, and diverse. There are many opportunities to take on responsibility from a very early stage and a lot of focus on making sure everyone can develop the skills they want to develop and grow in a way that suits their goals.

Cons

Not necessarily a con- but it is a small company and flexibility in terms of roles and tasks may be required (a good chance to pick up a wider range of skills anyways!)

Pros

- You get to work with a great group of people - The work is groundbreaking and exciting - You have a good level of autonomy to figure out the best way to get things done

Cons

No real cons, but worth mentioning that Anmut's growing and evolving, which means you have to grow and evolve as well. If you like a challenge, you'll fit right in.
