Pros

Truly amazing coworkers… until they leave or get laid off Air conditioning, sometimes

Cons

Man, where do I start? Mismanagement is an understatement, labor laws and OSHA don’t exist (even though you will be required to take safety tests every year that have nothing to do with your job), the pay is BEYOND abysmal, they can’t maintain leadership to save their lives, but like everyone else has said, at least the coffee’s free!

Pros

The people here are second to none. We have the most passionate, skilled, and creative minds in the industry. The company is evolving, and the new projects on the horizon are bringing energy back to the company that has not been as consistent since pre COVID.

Cons

New leadership is still working on cleaning up processes from a company that grew too quickly and then was stopped in its tracks with covid. This will take time to restructure all policies and build trust with an international parent company.

Pros

Innovative creative department with talented workers

Cons

Animax does not care at all about it's employees. Routinely violates laws regarding pay, leave, benefits, payroll, FMLA. Discriminates against older, experienced workers and favors employees who rub elbows with management. Financially, this place is a nightmare. Withholds benefits and 401k deductions from employee paychecks and does not pay the carriers in a timely manner. Cancellation notices are frequent, even though payroll deductions are made and employees contribute to their benefits in good faith. Funds withheld are used to pay other bills. Some employees are paid extra for holidays and OT and others are not. Employees with same job duties and experience are paid differently for the same work. Since the HR director quit, the place has fallen apart even more. Hated going to work every day and seeing how badly management treated the workers. Workers had so much creativity to offer, but were taken advantage of. FMLA not offered to employees when management was aware of the need for leave. Jobs threatened and people fired for taking qualifying leave. They just don't care.
