Pros

The staff - really high level expertise from the top down. Pay - Salaries are decent when you start.

Cons

Senior Leadership - Ineffective, Cliquey, don’t follow through on what they say or what you have asked of them. For example: Core values - Prioritize People. Anglepoint doesn’t prioritize their staff. They prioritize senior management and those that are in the clique. They prioritize themselves and their own agenda over their staff. -Deliver Value - whilst the company as a whole delivers immense value to its customers, the senior leadership has not followed through with individual teams to support this, for example, on the sales side, they’re governed by their parent company for budget, and as such the expectation of 25% growth YOY without being able to recruit the individuals required to generate this increase was not signed off until February. This resulted in only having four people in sales by the end of Q1, instead of the 10 that were there by the end of April. Result of which meant that the company missed their numbers. No accountability from the two in charge of sales, just more pressure whilst earnings went down. -Improve everything - Little attention is given to how they can improve the customer experience or the employee experience. At the start of 2024, the message from senior management was automation. The development team were all let go as, whilst loyal and have delivered everything that was asked of them, they weren’t the right fit for the next part of this innovation. The process for automating SOW’s, content, pricing, deal desk, all things that weren’t delivered in the year of automation. Because that costs money and because the numbers were down, investment was put on hold. As numerous good staff left, the expectation was these positions would be filled. Nope. It just meant those in role had to take on more work because, the numbers were down. In summary, this used to be a really great company that you were proud to work for. It’s now more like an aging sporting hero or musical great from yesteryear that are hampered by cliques, favouritism, with little to no hope of climbing the ladder. If that sounds like your kinda job, go for it. If not, steer clear.

Pros

- Team is made up of experienced experts who really know the space and bring strong credibility with clients (also reflected in industry recognition like Gartner/IDC) - Clear focus on innovation, especially with AI and automation—employees are encouraged, enabled and empowered to improve how work gets done - Growing company with a strong client base, including large global enterprises and Fortune 1000 companies - Flexible, remote-first culture with a good amount of trust and autonomy for employees - Leadership is accessible and supportive, with a genuine commitment to allyship for women in tech

Cons

Company is growing quickly, which comes with some growing pains—processes, tools, and structure aren’t fully scaled yet, so there are inefficiencies in some areas.
