HA has seen a drastic culture shift since acquiring its affiliate Handy. Within 1 year, it feels like the negative aspects of Handy's culture has infilitrated HA, including at the leadership level. Last year saw a slew of employees get laid off just before the holidays (and before bonuses) at the direction of the new Chief People Office (from Handy) including veteran employees who had been with the company for over 15 years.
