Pros

A Learning Experience: If learning how to deal with disorganization, favoritism, and corporate dysfunction is what you’re after, you’re in the right place.

Cons

Extremely High Turnover : Employees are constantly being hired and fired, creating a work environment with no sense of stability. Internal Politics: Red tape slows everything down, and office politics often dictate decisions rather than merit. Project Favoritism: Senior consultants are given priority, leaving others scrambling for billable hours. Toxic Competition: The culture forces consultants to undermine each other just to secure work, creating a hostile environment. Constant Restructuring: The company is in a constant state of flux, with project managers and consultants frequently being let go. Misleading Claims About Workload: Management insists there’s a huge backlog of projects, but the available billable hours suggest otherwise. Unreliable Software: The software is riddled with bugs and inefficiencies, making it difficult to complete projects successfully. Nepotism Over Merit: Promotions and project allocations are often based on personal relationships rather than performance. Deliberate Isolation and Termination: After a few months, employees find themselves sidelined, with their billable projects reduced until they are inevitably let go.
