Pros

-good training -good learning experience -helpful coworkers -good pay to start -has and promotes integrity -the actual job is kind of fun because you do something different every and meet new people each day.

Cons

-cannot leave behind the glass wall the whole shift. which makes no sense since banks are allowed to and have more money than they do. -schedule up to 15 hours per day one day and then 5 hours the next with no overtime -paid lunch but you have to get up to help if gets busy, so no break some days -no work life balance -hard to get a decent raise -no sick days -vacation on fiscal year and you only earn one year after working an entire year -only long sleeve shirt to wear uniform which can be a challenge considering the company is based in FL. -do not listen to suggestions

Thank you for your review. I see that you are a former associate of ours but I wanted to take the time to address some of your cons. Not leaving during your shift is for the safety of our associates. We understand the long shift which is why we try to keep other days short for you. Breaks are paid and associates can take as many breaks as they want throughout the course of their shift. Unless you are a Branch or Co Leader, overtime is voluntary. And in regards to the program that allows feedback and suggestions, we have several different avenues to express your feedback such as an anonymous hotline or emailing senior management or Human Resources directly. We hope this has addressed your cons in the review and we wish you the very best in your new employment endeavors.

Pros

I personally, after years of serving tables and bartending, find the job and the environment much easier on me mentally to work in. Work is repetitive, same transactions all day and I like consistency and being able to slightly go into “auto pilot” comfortably when I feel like I need to. Training was awesome, I’m so used to getting thrown to the wolves at a new job, and having a full week of training and learning before being in the branch was awesome, however there’s still not 3 training centers in the state, so you may have to commute every day for 5 days. MY branch, personally, is full of amazing coworkers who make coming to work not so bad.

Cons

THE PAY. Especially when you consider the responsibility to carry with compliance and high amount of money. The pay is SAD. The pay needs to be more. And they push people to promote to leadership, but for what??? A 25 cent an hour raise with LOADS more responsibility? It doesn’t make sense. The only people who make decent money are overnight leaders. Even the branch leaders are making petty money. Also they use out-dated “paid vacation” instead of giving PTO. You get ONE week after AN ENTIRE YEAR with the company. And they don’t even approve your unpaid time off requests that easily… I’m someone who’s use to taking a week off like 4 times a year, and I don’t care whether it’s paid or not, but I feel like I can’t do that anymore and it’s driving factor that could lead to my separation from the company.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that the training process and your coworkers have made a positive impact on your experience here. Regarding your concerns about pay, we understand your frustration. It’s important to us that our compensation is competitive and fair. While you may think that our base pay may not always reflect the responsibility of each role, promotions typically come with a significant pay increase, and we aim to ensure that employees are rewarded for their growth and leadership development. We know time off is essential, which is why employees do not have to have any PTO in order to take time off, we grant many unpaid time off requests throughout the year. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Your feedback is valuable as we work to make this an even better place to work. We appreciate your continued dedication to the team!
