Pros
Half the people in charge don't understand the work you are doing so it's very easy to throw some big words around and make it seem like you're busy. No one in upper management cares. I called out "sick" so many times I would have got fired anywhere else.
Cons
All of the cost savings plans put into place over the last few years have led to major problems in quality. Which then leads to everyone running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to fix the problems and please customers. There is so much knowledge that has been accrued and never written down that new people coming in can't "pass" a test because they're doing it "wrong."
