Cons
I have to say that I am shocked that this operation is still running. This organization lures people into thinking they will make a difference in communities. You scramble to find things to do. The members make poverty-level money while the CEO makes over 7 figures. The motto is to make poverty-level wages like the people they serve. Except everyone else is making over 100,000 a year. The managers will micromanage every move you make and the mandatory meetings consist of how to use Zoom and email. You will gain far more experience with a regular paying job. Employers do not recognize this organization anyway. They promise to put your student loans on pause, but they forget to tell you that you will still accrue interest! Oh, but they do promise you FOOD STAMPS.
