Pros
Diverse group of students, and the faculty is comprised of mostly students that successfully transitioned. Beautiful campus, good food, in depth curriculum, and people with good experiences.
Cons
No leadership from the front. Your review comes in the form of an email. Outside experience is looked at with skepticism. When addressing a concern you will be told "You just don't know the Amity way.' Not enough time to accurately document activities with the students. Difficulties in doing the right thing only to be told to stay in your lane but those people are never around when you need them to do their job. Tons of armchair quarterbacking after the fact. Your schedule will change. If you are transferred out of the Demonstrator position you are essentially an outcast and no supervisors talk to you anymore. Supervisors will have phone calls as soon as you walk up. You will only understand this part if you work there, but what is said in the circle, does not stay in the circle. And the main focus is retention, retention, retention.
