It is true there are times the two owners may raise their voice over differing opinions or lively debate over how to solve company challenges but to state that the entire company environment is “hostile” is a far reaching exaggeration. Yet not a surprising statement from employee that was let go for non-performance.
Any turnover we experience, like with most companies experiencing rapid growth, is a combination of elements ranging from non-acceptance of change by the employee, non-performance of job function, or simply not being a good fit and making a conscious choice to move to a new opportunity.
We celebrate with our employees that have been dedicated yet have an opportunity to move on and will benefit their family. We always want what is best for the person whether that is with us or somewhere else. So some people move on to more positive ventures, and others feel bitter for not experiencing a good fit.
