Pros

The location was convenient and it is a small company .Almost every train passes here. It was an interesting starting company for a college graduate, a good stepping stone to another insurance company. Holidays include public and Jewish. The hours are 9-5 and you are not expected to stay later. The majority of coworkers are warm and friendly.

Cons

They are not A rated. The work load is completely unbearable and the compensation is not competitive. The benefits are horrible. You are hired to do one job but expected to do multiple jobs while answering the phone and processes documents and filling in for customer service and hr departments. You are micromanaged. There isn't any long term growth here. It's stagnant.

Pros

A professional and friendly atmosphere. Many of the employees have worked with each other for decades, yet are welcoming and supportive of new hires.

Cons

Older systems can be challenging to learn for a newcomer. The supportive staff helps alleviate this issue.

Pros

Nine-to-Five schedule and location are pretty much the only two good things here.

Cons

Completely overwhelming environment. I was hired to do one job but then trained on a million other things (which at first was fun to learn about, until I realized that they train me because they expect me to do all those tasks as well). I ended up doing a job of 5 people. They try to save money by hiring few folks and making them do anything and everything - squeeze all the juices out of ya. They don't even compensate you for the impossible workload. Just pay you the standard rate, and squeeze every cent out of that compensation. I had to leave because my quality of life was just deteriorating and I was just too unhappy there.
