While the compensation is competitive, the overall work environment made it difficult to stay long term. Leadership expectations are high, but there appears to be a disconnect when it comes to understanding how property management functions in practice. There is limited trust in placing the right people in the right roles and allowing them the autonomy to do the jobs they were hired to do.
The culture felt unhealthy and unsustainable, leading to high turnover. Many employees do not remain long enough to truly benefit from the pay before either being let go or choosing to leave. I ultimately decided to walk away, as I did not want to be part of an environment that lacked stability and a strong, supportive culture.
