Pros

The only Pro is the flexibility to work remotely any where with the United States.

Cons

Working at this company has been a disappointing experience due to rampant nepotism, unprofessional conduct, discrimination, and a toxic work environment. The management is weak and fails to address these issues, allowing them to persist and negatively impact the team. Additionally, there is a clear disapproval of the current CEO, Holly Cooper, whose leadership style contributes to the overall dissatisfaction within the company. The sense in the air is Fear. There has been more than 6 dismissals within the last two months and this is unnerving for a small company. I would caution anyone considering employment here to carefully evaluate the culture and leadership of the organization before committing to a position.

Pros

Altumint provides a stable salary and benefits.

Cons

When I started working here, I had two managers above me in the company structure and ten teammates. Now, I have five managers and six teammates. My team's workforce/manager ratio went down from 5.5 to 1.4. Old managers who knew all the details of the products and cared about product success, including the founding engineer, were demoted to non-managers. The new management cares more about Jira tickets than the actual job. They constantly cherry-pick small but good-looking achievements for good reports to the higher management while ignoring the existing problems. Altumint promised career paths and salary increases from the beginning, but these promises ended up being nonexistent in practice. Staff turnover is extreme here, even among new management, including CFO, CSO, CTO, HR, VPs, etc. The new management pretends to rule a big corporation. However, it is still a tiny and slowly growing start-up where new management has drastically expanded the management structure and services without investing in the actual workforce.
