There is no actual sales strategy, just "go out and say this". Several of us had years of b2b sales experience and saw right away this was a train wreck. Your goals are ridiculous, and then they put you on a "Pip" (personal improvement plan) which isn't based on any data just on what your manager decides what they think you should hit.
Management has very little experience, easy enough to look up a manager and find out "I've been in sales since before this person graduated high school."
The biggest problem is they lead people into thinking sales will be easy if they follow a script. But the fact is a lot of territories don't have the demographic for the type of patients they count in the goals.
