Pros

Look, no organisation is perfect, so I want to give Alteryx benefit of the doubt on few things that are genuinely great (or were ) about this company - - Incentives and Pay - They can and will offer you a "competitive base" and the health insurance part is pretty good. - Dean and Libby - Love them, genuine people, and when you talk to them, you would know what badassery analytics mean, the foundation of the product - The product itself - Designer is great, but slowly becoming obsolete as there are more suppliers with similar offers and better prices. Look that's the way it is, you don't innovate, you become lost in the crowd - L.David Kingsley - Where else have you seen a CPO who will take time and answer each and every review on glassdoor. Even in meetings, he doesn't shy away from presenting the shortcomings in the leadership team. He is an asset to this organisation. I hope he doesn't get corrupted and remain as empathetic as he is now, forever.

Cons

Alteryx, we need to TALK: It's not YOU, it's ME... - I couldn't take any more non-ethical budgeting practices, I wanted to sleep well at night - I couldn't see nepotistic hiring anymore, where people were favoured just because they knew high-ups -I couldn't see bad behaviours encouraged and talent discouraged at every step of my journey. I saw my fellow colleagues who I worked with, went to boot camp, who were absolute genius, left suddenly. And you gave a reason that they couldn't adapt to change? Really? These folks (well including me), represented Alteryx in front of thousands of people, and we couldn't adapt to change? - I couldn't see our culture going from empowering analysts to obsessing with C-Suite, who will not even use our product (I know it because I spoke to them so many times), and hence our website went from award-winning in 2019, to one of the worst-performing websites. - I couldn't bear the burden of scaremongering and a culture of fear, because I thought Alteryx was a company the promoted diversity and differences of opinion -I couldn't bear the culture as it started having adverse effects on my mental and physical health -I couldn't see you, Alteryx, from being so empathetic with old leaders to becoming so discouraging with new leaders I love you Alteryx, I always will, but I love myself more. And for my well being, I am ending this relationship. I hope you will find a better partner, a better employee.

Alteryx Response

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. While I'm disappointed to read that you've chosen to move on and that we ultimately failed to meet your expectations, I'm grateful for your years of service to Alteryx. It's the foundation that has been built by people like you over the past 24 years that are setting the groundwork for what we're building and where we're going. Thank you for the candor of your input here on the reasons you felt compelled to move on - and I appreciate both your love for Alteryx, and your commitment to your own well-being, which is an area we've been working to focus on this year. With each of the programs we're putting in place, input and feedback from employees (current and former) is so critical. To that end, I'd be grateful for a few minutes of your time to share more confidentially on your feedback. Leading in and being part of a company who chooses to do the right thing - even when it's the hard thing - is critical to me, and to my colleagues. As you mentioned in your comments, I read each review here and it's important to me to respond personally, as you gave your time, talent and energy to Alteryx, and your thoughts on what we're doing well - and the areas where we can improve - are critical to our continued progress and to the bright future I believe Alteryx has. Thanks again for sharing your thoughtful feedback, tough as some of it is to hear. And even more importantly, thank you for what you brought to Alteryx. We wish you all the best on the next chapter of your journey, and please keep in touch. Thanks, David

Pros

Great healthcare benefits and the legacy product still works

Cons

You won’t find worse leadership, micromanagement, broken processes, and a new ‘vision’ every quarter. Customers have stopped renewing and they are forced to buy features they don’t use or want.
