Pros

- Great pay - Development of skills such as communication, account management, client relationship management, resilience - Early exposure to training and people management - Supportive leadership and exposure to wider global teams - Involvement in wider office initiatives as a manager

Cons

The job is what you make of it. If you are a passive associate and/or manager, you really won't succeed here. Proactivity really matters. The job is intense and requires you to always "be online" if you are not ready for that, than it will be quite difficult for you to enjoy the role. The job is what it is and your managers or VPs can't really change how the industry works. Management in Dubai is transparent, if you don't enjoy it just tell them and they will help you figure out your next steps. Worst thing you can do is stay in the job that you don't enjoy, which will lead you to having negative experiences.

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
