Pros
Been at Allegis Group in their Hong Kong office for almost a year now, and it’s truly been a place that is like family to me. Blessed to have inspiring leaders who are empathetic but at the same time hold me accountable and push me to grow and overcome my insecurities/struggles. Supportive colleagues and partners who are always selfless and put the needs of the team first, which is very rare to see in a sales environment. Great place for fresh grads to find their feet, gain comprehensive training in business development, sales and negotiation, and client-facing skills that prove very handy both from a professional and personal growth standpoint. Structured training programs that get you well-set for success and internal promotion. Great opportunity to build a network of clients, build your business and be successful and fulfil the immense earning potential that’s on offer. Biggest takeaway for me has been the leadership and culture. Even as a commercial entity, the core is always to be better leaders and serve customers better and always strive to be the best version of ourselves. Loads of opportunities for internal leadership as well as L&D, that empowers Gen Z to step up and be authentic and empowering leaders in their own way.
Cons
Some might say that the working hours are long and tedious, but that’s the reality of any sales/BD role. Management never pressurises anyone to stay behind or work late - rather it is always encouraged to be productive and make the best use of your time and try to find a good work life balance. Really no major cons or issues that I can think of.
