This is true. The relocation industry can fluctuate with the economy. It is also seasonal. It is important that I differentiate between Destination Consultants and Inhouse staff. The Destination Consultants perhaps have one of the most professionally rewarding jobs in the company - helping new arrivals come to our country and they are one of the first faces they see. On the other hand, it is challenging, and is part-time. Our inhouse jobs are all full-time. We recommend those joining us for part-time work, ask in-depth questions about the ups an downs of the economy or the seasonality and see if this rewarding job works for your lifestyle - quite busy at times, less so at others.
