Pros
A consistent paycheck and mediocre benefits. You can work from home.
Cons
The company switched to providing oncall employees a cellular device to giving you $30 to supply your own. The work life balance is horrible for oncall employees. You can expect to work on the weekend doing scheduled work- not just oncall. I currently am on call 2 out of 4 weekends a month. Stress levels are high for infrastructure teams as the company is cutting costs every where all while getting rid of employees to properly handle the work load. The medical benefits get worse every year (company was previously known as part of Aon Hewitt). Last year everyone I encountered received a pay raise around 1%.
