A few other clarifications: First, we are sorry to hear that your start date during the pandemic was delayed. It was a difficult and chaotic time for many companies, and Aldevron was no exception. Second, as long as dating relationships are disclosed to the managers of those dating each other, so that potential conflicts of interest can be addressed, we do not interfere with our employees’ decisions to date each other. Finally, we hire and promote people based on their individual skillsets and merit, not based on gender or tenure, and we take into consideration multiple factors when making these decisions.
