      Pros

      The ABQ Journal is a very respected publication and has been around for a very long time. The campus is beautiful and most colleagues are friendly, fun to get along with, and sympathetic to each others concerns.

      Cons

      The Journal is trying hard to shake the stigma of "Print is Dead" by offering online options to clients. This is a good step but the internal workings are extremely cumbersome. They rely on a lot of paperwork and spreadsheets which slows down productivity. It's an old system that has been in place too long and needs to be streamlined.

      I truly enjoy the "problem-solving" aspect of my role. The work is challenging in all the right ways, and I feel valued by my team. Fantastic coworkers and I look forward to the work I do every day.

      This is a challenging industry.
