Lots of time on your hands to do training.
Cons
For the same reason as above, you don't learn much. Certain people in I.T. nitpick about little things and are difficult to work with. Management plays too much politics and do not accept fault, if it lies with them. Uses employees as scapegoats. You are disposable scum if you are a contractor. Employees are infallible!
