Pros
If you like Washington, Airlines, Traveling, and making a decent amount of money its a good place to be. Everyone says good things about Alaska Airlines, its comes highly rated. We have gotten to work entirely remote for the back office positions the entire time of Covid.
Cons
-Bad Director who is angry, aggressive, unsupportive, and miserable. Will pick you apart and focus on all the negative aspects of what you need to improve on instead of trying to work with you and coach you or tell you you are doing a good job. Makes for a negative and stressful work environment. -FP&A has extremely high turnover, work has changed hands multiple times so there's no documentation or training. Its a disaster. Beware. -People will bombard and harass you for the dumbest requests and create more work for you (cost owners and idiot senior leadership) -Month-end close is the absolute worst Doing anything related to a wage accrual adjustment is impossible and makes zero sense. The company has not established a decent way to do this.
