      Great people to work with, decent stations and equipment.

      Cons

      Disadvantage to be a paramedic at this department. Paramedics are not allowed on the fire truck unless all rescue spots are filled. Which hasn’t happened in my 8 years.

      Great place to work! They offer a lot of training opportunities. Equipment is top notch and never broken.

      Cons

      Very busy department on the EMS side. Must have a strong work ethic.

      All the people who work there are great. Very good camaraderie.

      Low pay scale. Lots of mandatory overtime.
