Pros

Holidays off. Sick leave time accrual rate.

Cons

Low pay, costly benefits that do not cover much, treatment of staff. This management of this agency abuses their position for personal gain. Questionable activities by upper management. Even the clients they are supposed to help are treated like dirt. Staff who have been with the company for more than five years are leaving due to the way the agency is governed and the treatment of employees.

Pros

The children are impacted positively when they have positive role models. Staff and parent do care.

Cons

The salary is a joke. It’s just depressing little place. Not enough newer materials or supplies that you would find in a private pre-k. Not building and location are not aesthetically beautiful. It’s depressing going to work and seeing the environment. A lot of trainings outside of a CHG oil hours but no increase in pay. Why bother?

Pros

You can connect with wonderful people working at ALPI. Meaning you can build lasting connections with not only with coworkers, but the families and children that you serve. Benefits are somewhat decent and you're guaranteed 40 hours of a work week. Holidays are given too all employees ( Spring, Winter, Summer)

Cons

Whole organization is crooked, from top to bottom. HR thinks she is the CEO and the CEO is a cowardly woman who speak ill about past and current employees. Agency always threatens about job abandonment and firing you on the spot all the time. There are too many snakes in the grass. I would not stay here long if you're trying to grow professionally! RUN!!!
