Pros

Remote work with endless hours.

Cons

This company currently has one employee and it will never grow. The turnover rate is extremely high. Employees vanish quickly. Job-seekers should avoid this company. The CEO/owner is a bully who creates a destructive work environment, here's what to expect from him: - Overwhelms staff with absurd requests and procedures that lack logic or purpose. - Obsessed with time tracking and reporting every minute worked despite achieving no meaningful outcomes. - Fosters anxiety and dread through constant harassment and criticism. Unprofessional bullying behavior. - Indecisive, confused, and ineffective. Struggles with basic concepts and wastes everyone's time. - Promotes toxicity by belittling competence of staff despite his own incompetence. - Bombards staff with irrelevant messages and demands during all hours, including evenings, nights and weekends. - Micromanages in an oppressive manner. - Meetings stretch pointlessly with no decisions made. - No vision or leadership ability. Mires team in trivial details and confusion. - Drives away talent rapidly. Morale plummets under misguided, abusive management.

Hello, I'm aware of who wrote this response. The writing style is a fingerprint. This is a barrage of incredibly hurtful statements. I wish for you to remove it and consider finding a less hurtful way to express yourself. The company and your colleagues (including me) did its best to work with you, support you, and guide you through a role you knew would require your best efforts in order to take on. You were offered severance, which you accepted, and you were offered post-termination support, which you accepted. Leaving this review and then making the statements you made later put a stain on a long-term relationship in which you and I both knew would be taking a chance. You expressed considerable gratitude for the position, regularly talked about how much you appreciated and enjoyed the company. You made statements about the vision of the company and your pride in being here. So to see you write this breaks my heart. Please consider removing this and sharing your thoughts with me over email or a letter. I take all feedback seriously, and, when necessary, personally. This doesn't have to be the way you leave your last words and have us remember you. I haven't let the team know about this review yet, because it will be obvious who it came from. You made a good effort and I want to recognize you for that. And you know I always acknowledge our shortcomings given the very big goals we set out for. But you and I know this was not the picture of the company that you're painting here. I'm so sorry things didn't work out. I really did believe in you. I hope you realize that you're better than this post, and consider taking it down. We will be fine if you leave it up, as the core team believes in what we're doing. But I don't wish for this to be how you're remembered. Ultimately, either way, I am sorry this didn't turn out to be the place you could call your professional home. We still were willing to work with you as a contractor after the dust settled. We made that offer, and I was sorry to see there wasn't enough time to sort that out before this review came along. Pros

There are very few leaders who seek to support their teams and their people in ways that allow them to truly grow as individuals. To simply be a leader is one thing but to actually lead is an entirely different beast and Jordan is one of those who seeks, with limitless passion, to lead with empathy, dignity, honor, compassion, and a raw curiosity that is nothing short of inspirational. When he asks his team how they are doing, he means it. When he provides guidance, he sees what you are capable of, and if you have a lower opinion of yourself than what is possible, you’ll be challenged to rise and become the best version of yourself. If that’s not absolute perfection, then I don’t know what is.

Cons

If you’re looking for the easy road where it’s clock-in/clock-out and no one pays attention to what you’re doing…you probably won’t like it here.

Thank you so much for your review! I feel honored to serve as the leader of the company to have treated you this way. This is always what I'd hoped it could be, and I feel it's my duty to see each individual for their strengths and not let them stop believing in themselves. I agree that there are people who should not work here because they really do want to have more control and autonomy where they aren't checked in with. It doesn't make the person bad, but it can turn into a bad situation if we don't recognize it early, or if we don't keep making strides in a more selective recruiting process. Can't think of any positive points. Unless you like a toxic work environment, extra hours and bad ownership.
