      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity to grow your own business and be very successful; can set yourself and your family up to live comfortably.

      Cons

      Depending on who your district/region is, structure and guidance can be minimum. If you're not willing to hit the phones and cold call hard, you can get into trouble.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
