Pros
Beautiful office, friendly junior staff, and on occasion knowledgeable 1- or 2- senior advisers who are willing to sit down and iron out issues presented. If project administration and coordination is your interest, this place is heaven for your development. Plenty of opportunity to submit BA forms to BD, coordinate with (or rather chase down) consultants to resolve daily design/operational issues, and conduct on site meetings with contractors/end-users/consultants.
Cons
Sink or swim mentality. Design: -Poor wide spread leadership with minimal vision leading to multiple thoughtless iterations -Directors sketch, minions model-vision not always clearly orchestrated -Consumer driven designs with little to no basis, recycled narratives-very formulatic -Design teams work extremely long hours (60hrs per week, competitions 80hrs per week) -Project Coordination teams work less (50hrs per week) Miscellaneous: -Don't fall for the free meals after 9pm and free taxis after 11pm as these are simply ploys to make you work longer hours and over weekends. -Little ability to move up as too many underperforming associates/senior associates sit at the top which were promoted during the company's high prosperity period -Reduction of Happy Hour from every Friday to every other Friday -Internal team building and lunch seminars eliminated from budget -Lack of internal knowledge sourcing (methods of work, detail design) either due to overworking of individuals or lack of concern.
