Pros

There were quarterly performance review with chance for slight pay raise and adjustments. However it still doesn't equate to the heavy workload we had. During my year there I had up to 24 patients to myself at a time during busy day shift due to being short staffed. I complained multiple times and found out after I left the load decreased to 14 a person which is much much safer and more doable to provide quality care. I will always remember the passionate nurses who work so hard and care for their patients and make work more enjoyable during bad days. They work to please patients, provide quality care, and collaborate with the doctor for great care. Plus, this is THE PLACE to go to get a lot of experience in a short amount of time. The nurses and nursing staff are very overworked and expected to do a lot. From what I hear, all the nurses and nursing staff that came quit after GAMC have great work ethic and skills so that their next job will be a a lot easier and very manageable.

Cons

Very high turnover rate. During the year I was there, 10+ CNAs quit due to the difficult load, non proportional pay, and non supportive management. However management is also pressured from higher up so it's not entirely manager fault.

Pros

I worked with Advent Health back in 2003, At Sunbelt, Across from Florida Hospital on Rollins before the expansion and the current car garage was built. My Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehab was there in that location before the expiration, Advent was a wonderful company to work for, and when I had to separate from them it was very hard to do, I loved my work with the peoplel and the patients.

Cons

It was hard to work in a older facility that was not as up to date as many of the others. Even though we were right next to Florida Hospital and we were their immediate rehab facility of discharge choice, especially when there was respiratory therapy involved.
