Pros

1. if you are interested in japanese culture and language, this company is for you because they offer intensive training to learn japanese and at the same time improve your IT skills. 2. opportunity to work in japan 3. good working environment and people 4. additional allowances if you passed level 1 and 2 japanese exams.

Cons

1. slow promotions and low salary increase if your contributions and skills are not visible by management especially for onsite assignment employees. 2. A,B,C guessing of evaluation performance for onsite employees, not knowing their efforts and contributions to their clients. 3. no work-life balance. daily overtime and often weekends. overtime became a habit in this company due to wrong estimations and to fulfill the request of demanding clients. 4. cannot focus/improve on 1 skill, different projects different skills are needed so if they lack of people, even you are not knowledgeable they still include you in their team which may lead to technical skill issues. 5. allowances never increase despite of the increase of commodity prices and standard of living. 6. since most are japanese clients, you have to adjust with their cultures which #1 is OT.

Pros

The company has a good training package for fresh graduates. For people interested in learning Japanese, this company is suited for you. The work environment is friendly and people have good relationships with each other. They have flexible time-in plan. Employees have opportunity to gain experience in different technologies and business domains depending on the project assignment.

Cons

Some hectic projects require employees to work on weekends. There are fairly a number of cases that requires employees to work overtime and overnight in order to meet deadlines due to incorrect estimation of work. Because of the project-based culture in the company, employees have limited chances of choosing the type of work, technology or domain that they want to focus on. To be able to acquire expertise on specific technical skills as well as business domain, one has to be in the right place at the right time in order to be included in the right project.
