Pros
My coworkers were always amazing and truly some of the best RBTs I have worked with! The company does truly care about the kiddos and is not focused on money like many other ABA companies.
Cons
The company took multiple discriminatory actions when I got pregnant, to the point I had to leave. I had been working at the company for several months at the time I got pregnant. At first, everything seemed great. I got breaks when needed, and they seemed to be very considerate about the sickness that comes with the first part of pregnancy. However, I had an incident with a client that led me to leave work early. Thankfully, everything was fine. However, after that incident, it seems like management had shifted and started taking some actions that were unacceptable. Firstly, they took my client from me, and had me work with new clients (for me), and took my hours from 25 a week to about 8. They also told my client's family without my knowledge or consent, leading to the family asking me multiple personal questions about my pregnancy. They also told new employees when I left, and I found this out when I returned my badge, when a new employee I had never met congratulated me on my pregnancy. On top of this, a member of leadership had a conversation with me where they asked me to find a new job, phrased as it being for my comfort to find a work-from-home job. When I asked if they were offering me a position to work from home within the company, they let me know there were no positions, and that I would be "more comfortable" finding another position outside of the company. Ultimately, the lack of hours led to my leaving as I could not afford to continue working with so few hours. After I left, I let the owners know; however, the person who took these actions is best friends with the owners, and for that reason, I believe nothing was done to prevent future employees from going through what I did.
