Pros
Fast paced and Team oriented environment. Base level employee's usually work well together to multitask and accomplish goals. Jobs and tasks are mostly straight forward. Talking cars with customers and fellow employees.
Cons
Not enough base level pay for non-manager level staff. Not enough support from corporate for store needs. Stores are constantly understaffed due to a lack of employees or lack of hours for employed staff. Short staffed stores have employees multitasking and doing multiple peoples jobs on a daily basis with little recognition and zero pay increase. Virtually zero career advancement opportunities, The 'Assistant Manager" and "Manager-In-Training" Titles have been abolished and nearly every managerial hire from Store manager to District Manager come from outside of the company. Store Managers are salaried and are required to work 50 hours a week minimum while getting paid for 40 hours. Many of the base level staffs weekly hours get cut to fit in a managers 50 hours minimum. Many Store Managers leave whenever they want after their 50 hours are complete, leaving base-level employees to fend for themselves until closing. Some stores have a "High-School" like Atmosphere and go "into business for themselves", regardless if it effects other stores or not.
