Is this your company?

Fair treatment and benefits, but frustrating management issues. - Sales Account Manager Adept Fasteners Employee Review

Pros

Adept has been really fair to employees. Fairly easy to request time off, early leave, late start. This is the biggest reason employees stay. Medical is paid 100% for employee only. 401k match up to 3%. Work from home for emergency situations. Managers act like they care.

Cons

No remote positions unless your family. Family with higher management = promotion faster, more flexibility and less resistance, likely more pay. Salary increases are almost a joke. Typical 3-5% , maybe 10% if your lucky / prove your deserving. It’s almost best if you left and came back after 2 years just to get a real raise. Raises are every 2 years for more senior / longevity employees. Management has little to no power. President Gary can make working here really frustrating on a daily / weekly basis. Get an order that was approved by all managers, but if Gary doesn’t like it, we have to cancel with the customer or find some impossible alternate solution. Had an order with a customer for a year but new cost is higher? Cancel the order with the customer even if we purchased stock solely for that customer. Being is sales feels like we are children that must get approval for everything and fear Gary will screw us over on orders.

Pros

No clear positives in my experience.

Cons

My experience at this company was challenging due to what I perceived as an unprofessional work environment and inconsistent management support. I often felt that decisions were influenced by informal social groups, which sometimes affected fairness in team dynamics and opportunities.
