Pros

You get to go home...eventually

Cons

Awful work-life balance, management must have been picked via a rock-paper-scissors contest at JobCentre, because there isn't any plausible way the PL's can be less knowledgeable than the VA/SVA's and this clueless but this is a common issue here. Turnover rate is the most dire thing I have ever witnessed. Most new recruits plan to leave by week 3 or 4 in my experience. If the job market wasn't so awful I would have left at the end of my first month. PLs nag about anything and everything, random teams calls to disrupt your work flow so they can "make sure everythings on track", you realise PL's are just admin staff setting up timelines nicking a living. Pay is horrendous, wow. Progression is at a snails pace, staff here who have been here over 2 years who finally got their first promotion recently for a hefty *checks notes* 3k payrise (!) All-in-all, please avoid. I promise you if doesn't get worse than Adelphi Values

Pros

Relatively open communication channels with directors. Lateral structure that allows for connecting with the whole team.

Cons

Management decisions from an Omnicom and Adelphi Group level have stripped the company of anything once found positive. The team was assured of no layoffs during a merge, and then the first group to successfully merge were laid off. Deferred compensation was not awarded and we were not told ahead of time. 5 days of PTO were taken back. Promotions and annual raises delayed by months, often with no back pay. The team is spread incredibly thin, having lost around a third of the staff over the last two years with no approval to hire. This leads to no time to drive internal initiatives towards personal development. The US team now uses researchers and managers from the UK office, which leads to resourcing and communication challenges. The company culture that made it worth staying through low pay by industry standards hasn’t been able to withstand this. The office lease hasn’t been renewed and the team is worn down across the board. I don’t know if I see AV PCO US standing in 3 years unless something drastic happens. The Adelphi Group seems to be struggling financially, but communication from group-level management is either non-existent, opaque, or seemingly false. Compensation across the board has tanked due to decisions from group and Omnicom: 401k match is almost nonexistent, 5 days of PTO have been rolled back, PTO maximum cap has been reduced, deferred compensation not awarded, annual raises (3% at the max) delayed or not given.
