The first 6–12 months on the producing/BDM side can be tough. It’s definitely more of a long game. Those who stick with it through the early challenges are often the ones who go on to find the most success. In the beginning, it can feel like a bit of a grind without immediate payoff, but with consistency, the results do come—just like with most sales roles.
This isn’t a negative reflection on the company itself but more of a reality of the industry. Staffing can be really challenging. There are some tough moments and low points, but they’re often followed by great wins and high highs. It takes resilience, but for the right person, it’s a very rewarding path.
