-Been with Activus for several years. As a longer term employee, the appreciation and compensation decreases.
-My manager never compliments my work or says anything to me directly to make me feel my time and my contributions matter. They never schedule one on one time to see how it’s going, what my goals are nor do they advocate for you to grow within the company. My manager only talked to me one on one about twice in the past year which neither time was ever about how I feel, my goals or what we can do to better structure our process to become more effective at what we do. My sincere feeling is, as a long time employee, I’m not valued as I used to be, probably because they think if I’ve been around long enough then they no longer need to impress upon me because they know I already put up with a lot as is and I’m likely not going anywhere either way.
-Somebody mentioned about the problem with Activus discontinuing to pay us a Christmas bonus since Fexlis left and Sanjay took over as CEO. That is a very valid point. Mr. Choithramani doesn’t connect with any of the Activus employees like Felix use to do. As soon as he took over, our annual bonus was taken away. That wasn’t a handout, it was money that we earned through time and hard work throughout the year. Sanjay never sends out a corporate email to us asking for feedback, he never tries to get to know us or never scheduled a meeting to meet with the people that are keeping him wealthier than the rest of us. The disconnect is unbelievable.
-I spoke to HR about some of my concerns. They do listen but that is all that they do, they only hear what you say but nothing ever gets escalated. There is never a follow up. They never get you to speak with somebody higher in the food chain. Even here in the Glassdoor reviews, they acknowledge the reviews and provide their email address however it is only a tactic to make us feel heard as if that is sufficient enough to address any legitimate issues (which again, nothing gets escalated and no action is ever taken so what is the point?).
Activus sends out their annual Great Place To Work survey. No matter how many times I fill that survey, it never makes a difference. Base on the reviews on Glassdoor and based on what I heard from employees in other departments, Activus isn’t the pro-employee wonderful job environment that Activus portrays.
-Ambassador pay went up decently but it didn’t go up as well for others. Make that make sense. I guess that further proves that some of us don’t matter.
