Management do not give a toss about anything but numbers. They'll change your entire job role with less than an hour of work time remaining before the new role is implemented. There is no quality, all quantity. My mental health suffered seriously working there and when we raised concerns in a very reasonable and professional way (that a new process was implemented with no training whatsoever) my teammates and I were repremanded for not being more positive. It's essentially a banana republic, relying on one contract which I understand they have lost/are going to lose very soon (this is not insider knowledge, it is known one of their suppliers has lost a major contract and therefore the majority of the work AGL get) so I expect the company will make many redundant over the next couple of years. The staff retention rate is almost non-existent, they are dropping like flies and often leaving with no notice because of the toxic work enviroment - almost everyone I started with at that company has left or is looking for work. Even if I was out of work, I would not consider going back there as my mental health has improved massively since. I left late last year and according to my former colleagues (and now good friends, the only long term benefit of working here) there have been no improvements at all. Unless you can handle an environment where the rules and your job role change constantly with minimal notice and no training and you can produce a massive quantity of work within an unreasonable time frame whilst putting up with lower management having no backbone to challenge upper management when they make decisions based solely on profits, STAY AWAY. Oh and finally, the nepotism is rampant.
I decided to write this after seeing the review someone has given it a few days ago, it genuinely looks like an ad as I can't see a single person there enjoying working there that much. I don't want anyone to be misled, this place is toxic.
