Pros

snacks, non management pretty friendly

Cons

micromanaging, insane hours for full time, unfair performance evaluations that don’t actually measure how much work is being done

Pros

Working at Actfore has been a really positive experience for me. I’ve had the opportunity to grow my skills and contribute ideas, which makes the work feel meaningful. One thing I especially appreciate is the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and the ability to earn more shares through strong performance, which makes the effort feel worthwhile. Since I started, I’ve seen the company grow quite a bit, which makes me feel confident about where things are going. I also appreciate that there are tools that help you see how you’re performing, so you have a clearer understanding of where you stand instead of feeling like you’re guessing. On a smaller note, the snacks, and holiday events are nice touches that make the environment more enjoyable.

Cons

There are times when turnaround expectations can be demanding depending on the project, but if you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, it’s something you can adjust to without issue.

Pros

There will be some snacks and drinks. The junior staff are very friendly; after all, people with bad tempers wouldn't tolerate this job

Cons

There's just too much to say. The work environment is incredibly stressful now. Middle and upper management are completely incompetent, just playing on their phones and giving you a fake smile. Even when it comes to necessary feedback, they completely disrespect you, interrupting you without a second thought, because they won't listen to a word you say. They now also monitor your occasional phone use and prohibit you from sitting in the work area during breaks. Daily workload is compared to the average workload, and under this completely unfair comparison mechanism, seniors can choose much easier tasks than juniors (yes, there's no difference in the work of a Data Analytics specialist), meaning juniors have to bear more pressure and handle more difficult tasks, creating a vicious cycle. If anyone is still interested, I could go on and on. This is a massive, live spectacle of an uncompetitive company exploiting every unemployed person in today's terrible job market.
