"Lovely people, lovely apps." Not sure. They just build whatever apps the clients demand, and the people act lovely, sometimes, I guess... Culturally, the environment can lean heavily into "Hey bro" high-school office dynamics. The open-space office is often loud and disruptive—with unprofessional jokes, profanities, and pranks frequently dominating the floor instead of professional leadership. Disagreement and individuality are not well-received, and advancement can feel like it is based more on ego and compliance than actual leadership skills.
