Pros

Base salary Free leads That's about it

Cons

Must work 1 extra Saturday a month without overtime, sometimes more They constantly change commission structure. Someone left a review on September 8 saying they do this. The company replied back that they haven't changed commission in over a year. That is absolutely false. They have constantly changed commission to make it more and more difficult to earn 6 figures. They like to say they have agents making well over 6 figures, that was before the commission changes. They also require 40 hours a week. If you have a doctor appointment, and miss 3 hours, they say you're required to stay late and make it up that same week "because we're salary and get paid the full day". The salary is just a loop hole that allows them to have everyone work an extra Saturday without paying any overtime. How that's even legal is beyond me. The best part is, if you stay an hour later one day, you don't get to leave an hour earlier that week. It only applies when you miss time, not when you work too much. There have also been many agents who claim they have missed commission payments and the system they have makes it very easy for commissions not to be credited to an agent. Again, MANY agents have said this.

We understand that you have some concerns about your experience as a prior agent at our company, and we appreciate your feedback. While we value all opinions and strive for continuous improvement, we would like to provide some perspective on the points you raised. Firstly, we're glad to hear that you found the base salary and free leads as pros of working with our company. We aim to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain top talent in the industry. Regarding the issue of working extra Saturdays without overtime, I want to clarify that our company complies with all labor laws and regulations. Sales roles often require some flexibility in hours to meet the needs of our clients, and we make sure to compensate employees fairly for their time. You mentioned concerns about changes in the commission structure. We would like to emphasize that our company periodically reviews and adjusts bonus structures to align with market conditions and industry standards. These changes are made with the goal of ensuring fairness and competitiveness while still providing opportunities for our agents to earn a substantial income. As for the requirement to make up missed hours due to appointments, our policy is designed to ensure that agents meet their weekly work commitments. We believe in accommodating personal and medical needs, but also need to maintain the consistency and availability required to serve our clients effectively. Should any issues occur, we always encourage you to reach out to your manager to assist you further. Regarding missed commission payments, we take such concerns seriously and have mechanisms in place to investigate and rectify any discrepancies. We encourage agents to communicate promptly with management, HR and Finance teams to address any issues they may encounter. Your advice to management about the culture is appreciated. AccuQuote is constantly working to improve our company culture and prioritize the well-being of all employees. We value every member of our team and understand that a positive work environment is crucial for success. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you understand our commitment to addressing these concerns. If you have any further suggestions or feedback, please feel free to reach out to our HR department. Thank you for your time with our company, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great staff, work from home, and the potential to make unlimited income. The harder, your work the more you get paid.

Cons

Even though it’s an at home job, it’s still a 9 to 5 clock in clock out job. It’s not as flexible as it should be.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad to hear you value the supportive team, remote setup, and the opportunity to earn based on your performance. You're right that, while remote, this is still a structured 9-to-5 role. As a call center, maintaining consistent shift coverage is essential to supporting our clients and ensuring team success. That said, we do appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve the overall experience. Thanks again for being a part of the team!

Thanks for your feedback and for being part of the team. We’re glad you felt the pay was fair, but we’re sorry to hear the management style felt overwhelming. We aim to support our team while maintaining high standards, and it’s clear we don’t always get that balance right. Your point about customer service being more than just software really resonates with us. We appreciate you sharing this, feedback like yours helps us improve.
