Pros
Accu-Tech has a pretty laid back environment and is ideal for the motivated sales rep. The management is all different so depending on what territory you are in, you may be given free reign or in a few cases, you may be micromanaged. But overall, most managers are great and easy to work for and satisfy. Health insurance is pretty good and they offer 401k and several other benefits. Casual office environment in most locations. And they are hands down better than Graybar.
Cons
Most very large accounts are handed over to a few reps and therefore they are going to have the majority of the business in that territory. Most areas have already been scoured for business since this company has been around for so long and accounts are already set up and assigned for almost all contractors in the area. You really have to start at square one and work really hard at building a customer base (a lot of times with brand new contractors that may or may not make it in the industry). You will eventually build a decent customer base but you may go 6 or 7 months with no commission. Commission expectations drastically increase after you have been with the company for a while.
