Pros

Employees pulled together to get jobs done.

Cons

When I took this job many of the employees would speak of how things used to be. I worked in production and was constantly given jobs with dwindling budgets and higher expectations. Our resources to complete jobs constantly complained about not being paid enough and being paid late. Owner kept trying to do projects to keep up with and learn the new industry technologies but didn't want to put up adequate resources to utilize them properly. The pay for this job was the lowest I ever had in NYC. In my short time there I noticed many financial "cut-backs" which raised the red flag and told me it was time to leave.

Pros

- Close to subway - Within walking distance of Century 21 - Across the street from a bar - Some of my coworkers are cool - Indoor plumbing - Has lights - Did I mention the bar?

Cons

Are you looking for a challenging position where you will be engaged on a daily basis? This ain't the place to find that. - Most of the positions here require no particular skills or talents (outside of the IT guys). - The pay is a joke. - You are treated like a child - the receptionist marks the time you come in and leave on an attendance sheet. - The managers are the managers because they seem to be the ones with the highest tolerance for pain (read: dealing with the CEO) and lasted the longest. - People leave constantly (there are job postings on Craigslist all the time). I'd go too if I got as lucky and found something better. - The CEO is a ridiculous micromanager. When playing musical chairs with people's desks is a priority, you need to reexamine.
