- lower pay than what most companies pay for a tech job - if you finish a project and are unstaffed/benched, then you usually only have 4 weeks to find another project to work on or you are let go from AFS. This is my biggest problem with AFS. Currently still new to the company but I will always have the concern that I can be let go at any time. Also, Im not a contract worker, I'm full-time. The workflows and processes of how AFS works acts like the company is putting everyone on a contract.
