Pros
None that I can think of while really trying to be open minded
Cons
Workload and expectation were too much for miserable pay, there was two aspects to my job, one that should have been designated to another department and was an absolute mess that I was expected to clean up while not having received adequate training (this was the part that essentially pushed me over the edge) I'm out of college over ten years and the pay was similar to what I received in my first job, I accepted the offer as I have moved location and needed something asap. Inundated with emails (impossible to keep up with) and meetings, pressured to join in on team events and socialize with colleagues to a degree I have not seen in other work places Pushed too far much too soon as was also made an area rep for a new system I did not even have access too, all while knowing nothing about the previous system, seemed like a position all the awkward and awful jobs were pushed on to Training too slow at the start and then pushed right into chaos. During the slow period with nothing to do, I had to pretend to read SOPs I had already read but I was just staring at my computer screen watching the clock, I was sat with my computer screen facing towards the room while having managers behind me and another manager in an office to the side Toxic company culture and not a huge amount of 'craic' in the open office, all very serious and you get the feeling you are being watched I truly regret taking this offer, it was the straw that broke the camels back and I will be making a career switch
