Strategic decisions are frequently driven by short-term revenue goals rather than sustainable quality, end-user patient safety, or operational excellence, which can undermine both employee engagement and GMP compliance. Department managers often struggle to enforce expectations because directives are contradicted or overridden by senior leadership. This erodes accountability, diminishes respect for the management structure, and contributes to uneven performance standards across teams. No data-driven performance assessment (KPIs) - no formal performance assessments at all, only off-the cuff, rumor-driven discussions, often personally based.

great company, lots to learn, excellent colleagues, good guidance from management, they do recognize value to the company and the pay can be great. Emphasis on employee health and well being. I went from knowing nothing to being very knowledgeable and leveraging what I learned to get another job. The CEO knows hard work and he respects people for it accordingly. Quality management team is very knowledgeable and there are lots to learn from them. I still apply what I learned from them and I don’t work in pharmaceuticals anymore.

There are limitations in terms of growth and promotions but that is typical for smaller companies and they do make up for it with pay when possible and they do train and mentor if you’re receptive to it.
