Pros
1. Competetive salary. 2. So many perks including: Education budget, WFH, work from abroad, 1 month holiday, free classes and much more. 3. As Android devs our hand was wide open to decide which technology we want to go forward with or even experiment with. 4. Pet project: you have a chance of working on a side project separate (from your main one). for 20% of your week time. this was the greates offer company had for us as it allowed me working on the bleeding edge techs and even explore other platforms. 5. No pressure at all and good understanding of required time for each task. 6. Open to feature suggestions from the Engineering team. 7. Team events and quarterly team budget. 8. Super friendly and understanding managers and directors (especial thanks to Alex) 9. No lay offs during Covid-19 lock downs. 10. Shipping open-source code is openly possible.
Cons
There is definitely not much I can talk about in this section but just a few nit picks. 1. Mobile apps was not the main focus of the business. this was good and bad depending on how you look at it. 2. Because of the nature of the business, managers had to put the company in a sleep during the pandemic lock down. which affected our working hours and our income significantly. 3. Legacy codebase on core products
