Title says customer service but local management (which are not professionally educated) emphasize that we don't waste time on calls that are not going to lead to a sale. Subcontracted centers in other countries would like to get sales and when bills come out high they would call and we could not spend much time fixing it if we could not sell them something else. They would shame employees who didn't meet some targets like making them stand in front of all TLs and managers to explain why. They would say it was constructive but it was embarrassing to be singled out. They micro managed to hear calls live and would send you messages as you were speaking with a customer asking you where you were going with the call and what you were going to sell them making it hard to concentrate on the call and issues to even sell like they want. As a company, they basically paid for more than half of my bachelor's degree but once I graduated they did not hired me for any other position I applied for and I left. They did not get the return on their investment which is silly.
