Pros

Nice office space and comfortable setup to work

Cons

Unprofessional setup They don’t pay well They exploit the employees, make them walk long unnecessarily. They make employees do physical works like sweeping the lobby and Washing the toilets. Whatever the boss and his wife say at the moment becomes the rule. There’s no proper hierarchy at work. Nothing is taught, they just expect the employees to get as many projects as they can.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry that your time at our company wasn’t ideal and we recognize that this industry are not for everyone. Working in an interior design and renovation firm is not an ideal working condition for everyone. In this industry, client meetings often take place on weekends and evenings, leading to irregular working hours. For a new trainee who has no prior background, the lack of knowledge and experience can add to more stress and challenges in coping with time management, work-life balance, and being proficient in the technical skills. You would have to take much longer time in coming up with a technical drawing than an experienced designer. The company is committed to coach and nurture the new designers. All the trainees in our company must go through a comprehensive full 4-weeks classroom and on-site training program. Your comments are somewhat surprising and misleading. Being a trainee, we would not expect you to manage projects or meet any new client. Time is needed to advance your work. We provide industry-standard remuneration. As a trainee who is fresh from the vocational school without any prior experience, the company is committed to show you the ropes. One must work sufficiently for one's compensation – to be worth one’s salt. We wish you all the best.

Pros

I had a fantastic experience during my internship at Ap8Werks. The knowledge I have gained during my 6 months internship with them is invaluable and allowed me to apply the knowledge I learnt in school in a real world context. The team was incredibly supportive and did not hold back on teaching me many things, providing consistent mentorship and constructive feedback which allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I walked away with not just technical skills but also a lot of life lessons that will stick with me throughout my career. I had the opportunity to be a part of multiple projects which improved my understanding on how a project runs. Although the learning curve at first was challenging, their patient mentorship allowed me to not only grasp the concepts, but also execute tasks efficiently and to a high level of detail which will definitely benefit me in the long run.

Cons

The learning curve was steep at times and required a lot of self-learning and quick adaptation, but the mentorship and support helped me to adapt quickly

Pros

I was working as an intern for 6 months at AP8WERKS Pte Ltd as part of my Polytechnic module requirement. The staff at AP8WERKS were very friendly, helpful, caring and welcoming. During the initial interview the Director Mr. Tan and Ms. Priscilla were very easy to converse and communicate. And very understanding too. They stress upon the company’s value to be able to communicate well , learning experience, perseverance , passion and teamwork. The working environment and atmosphere were indeed stressful yet challenging, exciting and fun. The company also upholds the values of being open and creative about your inputs, ideas and opinion. I managed to pick up and learn substantially being exposed to the working nature and the many tasks given to me such as drafting and field assignments such on site and coordinating duties, meetings and communication with contractors. I have gained many insightful knowledge and and real working exposures throughout my internship stint at AP8WERKS. I am indeed grateful and indebted to AP8WERKS for giving me this invaluable working experience and opportunity.

Cons

- There is some miscommunication at times but it was resolve instantly. - In need to work during the public holidays - Some overtime works are needed as well.
