Used to be a decent Company to work for with some Fortune 1,000 clients in the fold.
Have gone downhill in recent years due to lack of (a) brand awareness, (b) marketing to middle-market companies, (c) and loss of experienced senior level consultants.
Cons
Poor management, lack of vision and lack of how to brand AMS. Very poor treatment of consultants over the last year and a half, with most being either reduced in hours, or cut altogether. No respect for experienced consultants, and ever since the acquisition by CLA, all they care about is billable hours. Unfortunately, nobody of note is left at a senior level to provide such service offerings. Have lost so much market share to CFGI and Tautum, that they have to bottom feed in the non-profit sector. No top-level talent left to handle any advanced or complex accounting issues. Thus, more lost business to their better run competitors.
